October 4, 2004
Dear Park County,
Since being elected
into this office four years ago many challenging issues have faced my office
and your county! With my strong business and agricultural background, I have
been able to work diligently and effectively on all issues which makes me YOUR
best candidate for Park County Commissioner.
During the next four years I intend to continue to work hard for You:
· I will work hard to make sure that every Park County resident has a
voice in
determining the County's future.
· I believe Park County has a future worth creating and a past worth
preserving;
· I believe we need a growth policy that will ensure our county's residents
respect for private property rights, is consistent with maintaining the unique
character that makes Park County a wonderful and safe place to live and work;
· I will keep working to develop a right to farm and ranch policy;
· I will continue to work towards handling our garbage in the safest
and most
cost efficient manner;
· I will continue to work to develop a program where Park County youth
are
more involved in County Government;
· I will continue to work for affordable housing for all residents and
our Senior
Citizens;
· I will continue to work towards resolving the dilemma on how to best
resolve
the need for a larger jail;
· I will work hard to improving and maintaining 1000 plus miles of county
roads;
· I will continue to work with numerous groups on a Wolf Policy that
protects
our wildlife and our large agricultural community;
· I will continue with my commitment to working with existing business's
and
searching for new ones so we can develop a broad economic base;
AND
I DO NOT Support any moratorium on new development that would cripple our struggling
economy.
Remember political rhetoric means little if it is not supported by action!
Please feel confident that my 'PROVEN LEADERSHIP IN CHANGING TIMES' will continue
to work long and hard for our shared interests in keeping Park County the great
place it is now and into the future.
Sincerely,
Ed Schilling
