Livingston Artist Bonnie Goodwoman is a glass beadmaker. Her beads are made one at a time by melting rods of colored glass on to a steel mandrel over the flame of a torch. This ancient technique is called "Lamp Working". Bonnie's most intricate beads are of nature scenes. "The Ocean Bead" is filled clown fish, coral, starfish and a sea turtle. "The Garden of Beaden" features butterflies, bumble bees and ladybugs in a brightly colored flower garden. She also makes simple dot beads, as well as critter and bug beads. The beads are sold individually or as Bonnified Designs earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
Bonnie shares her studio gallery, Mordam Art, with husband Parke Goodman.
