Lee Fredricks
Painter of Livingston, Montana

As a child growing up in Livingston I experienced such wonderful freedoms. I loved to ride my horse around the foothills of town and wander the river banks with my dog. I would spend quiet hours at our cabin on Mill Creek drawing the animals that I loved so much.

After attending MSU for several years and taking various art classes, I married my husband Dave. Together we raised two fine sons. During the time of raising a family, my art interests were put on the back burner. As the boys got older I once again found the time to pursue my own interests.

I had long admired, but never tried watercolors. Four years ago I purchased my first colors and have been paintingg ever since. I've attended several workshops and classes that have continued to inspire me.

I enjoy painting all aspects of life in Montana, but animals continue to be my favorite subject.

Recently, I won second place in the Montana Stockdog Challenge Art Contest. I am so proud of this award. It was a great experience. I look forward to participating in local community Art Shows. I can be reached at 222-0167 or FrdBz@aol.com
