Sculpture of Livingston, Montana
Tina
has been working with paper mache for 15 years, evolving an unusual
technique using simple wire armatures and building with successive
layers of heavyweight recycled paper, resulting in a strong, dense
yet bouyant looking sculpture. Her subject matter is eclectic ranging
from the purely figurative to abstract and the space between.
She is strongly influenced by mythology and the ation of the subconscience.
"I've always been interested in the idea of capturing energy
in a form. An energy that can be easily perceived by the viewer"
